 If you’ve stopped by to look for fitness advice or healthy eating options you may want to look away. If you’re a follower of my Instastory or snapchat then you’re well aware of my food addiction. I don’t think it’s a terrible problem to have until I clog an artery. I’m totally one of those “fat skinny” girls. I don’t work out as often as I should but I’m naturally thin. The fair for our town used to be the thing to do and now everyone flees the valley to Disneyland. Well not these folks right here. Our kids hate Disneyland. They’re teenagers, they look forward to walking around the fair without parents, meeting up with friends and just doing the teenager thing. So while that all excited me at their age, my new excitement is strictly based upon the food booths. I 100 percent felt like crap for a couple days after consuming all these terrible things but I’d it again next year!
We started with corndogs, a foot of deliciously battered hotdogs! Duh!  I’m a Dippin' Dot spaz!!! Even if I’m not in the mood for it, the sign of a Dippin' Dot, lights up my life!  We had looked online to map out all of the things we’d eat so we were on the hunt for Elotes! We didn’t find any on the cobb but we did find it off and it wasn’t as good as the cobb it was still worth the 6 bucks!  And then these guys!!!  Since we spent like 8 hours at the fair dripping sweat, Dennis and I decided it would be perfectly okay to have some adult beverages and watch some of performers. So Margaritas and beer it was!   We checked in with the twins, got them fed and hydrated. Blake opted for nachos which I managed to sneak a couple because that’s my God given right as a parent. Bryant chose a corndog and a strawberry lemonade!   After sending them on their way we moved onto the deep fried desserts! While I am a chocolate fanatic, Dennis suggested the deep fried cannoli. To my surprise it was way better than what I had expected!  |
