Teenagers in Disneyland! WHHHAAATTT!!
The boys survived the torturous trip to Disneyland! I told them I was going to make them blog post so they can explain exactly how they felt about the trip but that was a no go. We went to ESPN Zone for dinner and I was sooooo upset that night before we actually went into the park. The boys were googling accident statics and the dreadful wait lines. Literally they're telling me about an accident in 1970. We wanted so much for them to just enjoy their time!
I let the kids sleep in until they were ready on their own, no rush! We took them first to our favorite ride 'Thunder Mountain Railroad." I could tell they were both nervous and wondering if they'd be sick but nope, they got on like champs and wanted to get right back on! Hooray, they loved it! The dreadful SPLASH MOUNTAIN... yes they were freaking out that the drop was too high, so on we went and soaked we came off. No complaints other than the fact we were wet. We made reservations for lunch at Cafe New Orleans because we wanted to share our love for the Monte Cristo sandwich. While Bryant thought he could do without the jam, Blake was scooping the jam into his mouth! Hooray another plus! We did put the fast pass which I think was the best 40 bucks ever! No waits on the long line rides, someone taking our pictures constantly, and did I even mention the 78 degree weather!!!! The end of the night took a tiny turn for the worse and that's when I will not overshare. We ended up leaving before the fireworks but in time to watch the fireworks from the room of the hotel. Overall, I think they would completely go again. It'd still probably be my idea, they just wouldn't give me such a hard time.
After Anaheim you know we were headed to Huntington because its kind of our jam! Low key, nice beach, nice stores. The kids loved the mall! It was great time and great food. The trip home blows as usual but it'll be a while before we head back! Next trip is Christmas! Bet you can guess where we're going then! We're pretty consistent people.
