This is 35!

Welcome!!! Let's see if I'm at all good at this "blogging" stuff! 

Every year I struggle with celebrating birthdays. While everyone else wakes up excited to celebrate another year, I'm over here sad that I'm aging, my kids are aging, and my parents are aging... I wish I could freeze time. I know, I know, make the most of living in the moment but it my eyes.... I don't want a second to pass too quickly. Each moment feels like I don't ever want this to end. Anyway, my friends and family always try to make birthdays especially awesome for me so that I stop my pity party! Look at this adorable idea from my twins!!!! I'm sure the people reading this know I have 13 year old twin boys and they came up with this awesome idea for me to really "blog." HELLO!!! Teenage boys came up with this thoughtful of an idea! I'm sitting here thinking, did I really make these kick ass kids? 

So onto my birthday festivities... we recently visited Malibu as a family and I decided that I wanted to go back with my bestie to have Rosè like the fancy person I am. I have to recommend times a million, Malibu Café!

There is soooo much to do and its all free!!! Well not the sipping wine like a fancy person part but the boat rides, oversized chess, the pool table and even CONNECT 4!! I guess this is where I insert photos so you can drool?  Oh ya, the food is amaze balls and I have to recommend the white girl FROZÈ! Yep FROZÈ!!!! Imagine Rosè but like an ICEE!!!!

Post Malibu, Dennis and I were off to Huntington Beach!!! I didn't get many pictures from our night out but we went to the BEST BAR!!! It's called Perq's and there was THE most amazing band!!! They are called "We are Saved by the Band" and they sing 90's hip hop! No joke, one second I'm dancing to Chronic 2000 and the next was A-ha Take On Me!!! I was ready for bed by 10 like any other night but I couldn't STOP DANCING until after midnight!!!!

Our love for Huntington actually came from a friend of ours named KoolHandLuke. Check him out on Instagram! He's worth the Google search! He's an amazing artist who also does tattoo's! Dennis is a customer. Any who, he did all the artwork for a restaurant called Sancho's Tacos in HB! Since we love taco's, we made a special trip at the beginning of summer with the kiddos to have tacos and view his work! The actual morning of my birthday we had Sancho's for breakfast!!! The breakfast burritos are ranked #1 in HB! If you follow my instastories then you know I love food and these are the BEST!!!!

On our way home I made two stops! One to shop for band T-shirts and one for donuts! Priorities, I know. Leave me comments, correct my spelling, telling me what more to blog about! I don't at all think my life is better than anyone else. I just like over sharing!

So here we are at the end of my very first post!!!! Thank you to Dennis for the getaway and being my photographer! Thank you Mary for giving me faith in myself and putting up with my shit! Thank you to my family for always having my back...sometimes good, but mostly bad! That's why I need you every second of every day. To my kids, Thank you for giving me purpose! Without all you I'd be taking photos alone and no one wants that!  Do me good 35! Do me good!
